Our campsite is the perfect place for a family-friendly vacation with plenty of space for your little ones. Enjoy a few relaxing days as a family.
Camping vacation with children
Are you coming with a caravan, motorhome or tent? For the perfect vacation with children, we have great pitches with private bathrooms. This means you don’t have to walk far to the toilet and can leave all your things in the bathroom – making your vacation with children stress-free.
P.S.: Our “Wiesencamping” and “Süüdplaatse” pitches even have their own laundry room to make your vacation even more relaxed.

Vacation home for families
Don’t fancy camping? We also have great little vacation homes (“Schwedenhaus”) for families with up to four beds. Outside the house you have a large covered terrace – perfect for a cozy breakfast or as rain protection for bad weather days.
If required, you can also book a crib and a high chair.
Coming with your dog? We also have some “Schwedenhäuser” that you can book with your dog.

- Beach volleyball court and football pitch – balls available for hire
- Football table and table tennis table (table tennis sets can be borrowed from reception)
- Lake for swimming and SUP riding (book SUPs here)
- Tennis and boules in cooperation with the Fehndorf tennis club (bookable online)
- For bike tours with children: E-cargo bikes from Babboe can be booked (with bench and belts for two children)
- A book cell for older children
Cafe & Restauraunt Cabana
Our Cafe & Restaurant Cabana is open all year round: In addition to tapas and Spanish main courses, you can get pizza, tarte flambée, ice cream and cake here during the day.
At the weekend there is also a large breakfast buffet. Cabana also offers daily sandwiches and complete breakfast boxes to take away – be sure to order in advance!

There are many great destinations and activities for young and old around the EMSLAND-CAMP:
Whether it’s a day with a beach chair, playground and restaurant by the lake right on the campsite, a day trip to Schloss Dankern amusement park 🎢 , to WILDLANDS Zoo in Emmen , which makes children’s eyes light up with its animal diversity, or a visit to Alpakahof Büter 🦙 – everyone will find the right destination here.
Schloss Dankern
The Schloss Dankern vacation center is located approx. 6 km from the EMSLAND-CAMP. It has many attractions, such as an indoor and outdoor play park, outdoor pool and roller coaster – perfect for a trip with children. In the immediate vicinity outside the park there is also a high ropes course, a large swimming lake with water skiing facilities and an adventure mini-golf course, which offer lots of fun for adults and children.
Spaßbad Topas
The Spassbad Topas in Dankern (approx. 6 km) offers fun for children regardless of the weather. With its water slides and large water playground, it’s a great day out for children!
Emslandring Dankern
Dankern is also home to the karting and cross-country track, offering lots of fun and action for adults and children.
Battle Kart Dankern
Immerse yourself in an augmented reality and experience different tracks and game modes. You can compete against each other in up to twelve specially adapted electric karts on a playing field covering over 2,000 square meters. Click here for the website.
Zoo Emmen
One of the most beautiful zoos in Europe is the WILDLANDS Zoo in Emmen. In the adventure zoo, you can observe many animals up close in jeeps, boats or while walking. Thanks to the large enclosures and the many free-roaming animals, the zoo is definitely worth a visit!
