Booking and payment

Which places are still available on my preferred date? Are you also open in winter?

You can find all available places in the online booking when you enter your preferred date. Alternatively, you can see the places that are still available on this interactive map and book directly.

By the way: We are open all year round.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit is €150. If your total travel price is less than €150, the full amount is due.

Can we pay on site?

As our bookings are always binding, a deposit is always required. For bookings made at short notice or on the same day, the accommodation price can be paid on site.

Are there any other costs?

The only thing that is added to the accommodation price is the cost of electricity. These are charged at € 0.60 per kWh depending on consumption. Please note that the hot water boiler in each bathroom also runs on electricity consumption. You can find the reasons for this here.

How long can I stand “vor der Schranke”?

The pitches “vor der Schranke” are pitches for transients and can therefore be booked for a maximum of seven days.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Our general cancellation conditions apply:

Up to 6 weeks before arrival: € 29

Up to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total price

Up to 24 hours before arrival: 80% of the total price

In order to avoid high cancellation costs, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. You can also take out this directly with us during the booking process.It is not possible to take this out afterwards. This will protect you in the event of cancellation due to illness (medical certificate required) or death of a first-degree relative (proof required).Cancellation must be made immediately, proof can be submitted later. The cost of travel cancellation insurance is 8% of the accommodation price.

Alternatively, you can of course also take out travel cancellation insurance with other providers.

Can we also come with a group?

We are a quiet campsite and have a night’s rest from 10 pm. Due to some problems in the past, we can unfortunately only accept group bookings with a maximum of 10 people and a maximum of three pitches. This also applies if you book in several transactions.

Do you also have a disabled bathroom?

Yes, this is located at reception.

Alternatively, we also have some larger bathrooms.Please contact us (via our contact form, by phone or email) before booking so that we can recommend a suitable pitch depending on the degree of disability.

Do you offer permanent camping?

We do not currently have any permanent campsites planned. However, we are here for you all year round.

Arrival/departure

When can we arrive?

You can pass through our barrier from 1 pm and move into your pitch.Please register at reception so that we can switch on the electricity for you. Your bathroom or house will be available to you freshly cleaned from 3 pm.

Earlier arrival:An earlier arrival (from 9 am) is only possible by prior arrangement with reception, in which case we charge a surcharge of 50% of the accommodation price.

Can we also arrive after reception closes?

A later arrival is no problem. Please contact reception in advance by e-mail or telephone so that we can prepare your pitch and the barrier access.

What time do we have to leave?

The pitch or house must be vacated by 11 am.

Please leave on time, otherwise we will have to charge you for an extra night.

Late check-out: A later departure (until 17:00) is only possible by prior arrangement with the reception, in which case we charge a surcharge of 50% of the accommodation price.

What are the opening hours of the restaurant?

Our restaurant Cabana is finally open for you!

Opening hours:

Sunday to Thursday: 08:30 am – 10:00 pm

Friday and Saturday: 08:30 – 23:00

You can reserve a table by e-mail at reservierung@cabana-fehndorf.de or by phone.

Is there a bread roll service?

At the Cabana you can pre-order bread rolls for the next day until 19:30. These can be collected from 08:00 the next day. Alternatively, you can also have breakfast there directly.

Is it possible to hire vehicles/SUPs/etc. from you?

If you would like to go on an excursion or have a nice day at the lake, you are welcome to take a look at our rental portal and book directly!

Is fishing allowed?

Fishing at our lake is permitted without a day ticket. The lake is home to carp, trout, pike, eel and much more. Please take care not to fish in the beach area or on the dog beach due to the risk of injury.

Can you do laundry?

You can use our washing machine and dryer with the AppWash app. The laundry room is located to the right of reception, where you will also find detailed instructions for the app. If you have any questions, please contact reception.

Is bed linen provided in the Schwedenhaus?

For two people, comforters and bed linen are included. If you are staying in the Schwedenhaus with more than two people, you can book up to two bed linen packages for €9.00 each.

Are towels provided in the Schwedenhaus?

No towels are provided in our Schwedenhaus. However, you are welcome to book them with us. 1 towel package for 6€ includes (1 large towel + 1 small towel + 1x shampoo).

Will my house or bathroom be cleaned?

In general, your bathroom or house is for your entire stay – similar to vacation apartments – your area will not be cleaned and entered by us (we also do not refill toilet paper). If you wish, you can book an intermediate cleaning (for a fee). Please send us an e-mail (info@emsland-camping.de) or contact reception.

Are there quiet times?

We are a quiet place and have a rest period from 22:00. We do not have a midday rest period

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are always welcome here. However, please note that we have an upper limit of three dogs per pitch.

We have a total of 15 Swedish houses for dogs and dog owners, which you can book online. Other houses may not be occupied by dogs, as we also have allergy sufferers among our guests. It is also not permitted for dogs to stay outside the house.

Can I book a high chair or baby crib for the Schwedenhaus?

You can rent a high chair or baby crib for your stay via our rental portal!

Is there a public sanitary building?

As each pitch or house on our campsite has its own bathroom, we do not have a public sanitary building.

Can I charge my electric car at your campsite?

We have public charging points in the restaurant parking lot where you can charge your electric car. The stations have an output of 22 kW and charging costs €0.69 per kWh. You can pay by QR code, app or charging card.
